About Lauren
My passion for healing comes from a deep belief that we are meant to live with more ease in our bodies, clarity in our minds, and peace in our relationships. I support clients in slowing down, listening inward, and tending to what’s ready to transform. As a somatic and trauma-informed therapist, I create spaces where mind, body, and spirit are welcomed, and where meaningful change becomes possible through conscious attention and compassionate presence.

What to expect.
Entering a session with me is like stepping into a calm, intentional space designed just for you. My methods are integrative and experiential, blending somatic awareness, guided inner work, and psychospiritual processes. Together, we’ll focus on one concern, pattern, or goal at a time and gently dissolve the “charge” around it so it no longer holds the same emotional weight.
You can expect a grounded, compassionate presence, clear guidance, and space to explore your consciousness at a pace that feels safe for your nervous system. The overall experience is meant to be both deeply soothing and powerfully transformative—supporting you in moving toward more ease, clarity, and embodied peace.
Hi, I’m Lauren!
I’m Lauren Joy Herrera, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor dedicated to supporting people who are ready to deepen their healing and live more consciously. For over a decade, I’ve walked alongside adults navigating anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, spiritual awakening, and life transitions.
Throughout my career I’ve been especially drawn to work that honors the whole person: mind, body, and spirit. A life-changing guided meditation during my own therapy opened the door to the kind of work I now offer—processes that help clients reach profound levels of relaxation, insight, and inner peace.
My work is rooted in psychospiritual and somatic processes that go directly to the heart of what you’re holding. In our time together, you’ll often arrive with a specific concern, pattern, or goal—and we’ll work together to gently dissolve the negative charge around it. Through guided visualizations, meditations, and embodied inquiry, we follow the wisdom of your system toward integration and greater inner peace. Many clients notice a meaningful reduction in symptoms and emotional intensity even within the first few sessions.
I draw from many traditions and modalities, including somatic therapy, mindfulness-based approaches, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), humanistic and person-centered frameworks, and trauma-focused care. My lens is multicultural, spiritually open, and LGBTQIA+ affirming. I value compassion, humility, and deep respect for the many ways people heal.
At the core of my work is a simple but powerful intention: to help you remember your wholeness, reclaim your energy from old stories, and feel more free to live as your highest, most aligned self.
