About Megan

My interest in mental health comes from a deep respect for how complex our inner worlds and relationships can be. I believe healing happens when we have space to explore ourselves with curiosity, honesty, and without judgment. I care about helping people better understand their emotions, experiences, and patterns so they can feel more connected—to themselves, to others, and to the lives they want to build.

What to expect.

Entering a session with me, you can expect a space that feels safe, supportive, and free of judgment. I’ll meet you with curiosity, authenticity, and respect for your lived experience—you’re the expert on you, even if it doesn’t always feel that way. I listen closely and reflect alongside you, and we can gently explore what’s coming up, set goals if that feels helpful, or check in on what’s working and what isn’t. Our work may draw from EMDR, somatic awareness, mindfulness, and talk therapy, depending on what fits best for you. There’s room here for honesty, feedback, and growth, all grounded in moving toward meaningful, lasting change.

Hello!
I’m Megan Warnock, a therapist at Love Meets Therapy. I’ve been drawn to this work since my early 20s, when I first studied psychology and felt a strong pull toward understanding people more deeply. At the time, I chose not to go to graduate school, but years later I had the opportunity to return—and it felt like the right time to follow that interest. I’m really glad I did, as this path has allowed me to show up in meaningful ways to support others.

My work is relational and client-centered, and I aim to create a space that feels attuned, supportive, and free of judgment. I often work with people navigating identity, sexuality, trauma, and relationship dynamics, including LGBTQ+ experiences, kink, and nontraditional relationship structures. Many of the clients I see are feeling disconnected, unsure how to understand or access their emotions, or stuck in patterns in relationships that feel hard to change. Together, we can explore what’s coming up and work toward building more safety, clarity, and connection.

I take an integrative approach, drawing from EMDR, somatic work, mindfulness, and talk therapy, depending on what feels most helpful for you. I believe therapy can be a place for both insight and practical support, and that it’s also shaped by the larger social and cultural contexts we’re part of. My role is to offer a space for curiosity, reflection, and skill-building as you move toward the life and relationships you want.

More than anything, I aim to create a space where you can feel comfortable being yourself, where all parts of you are welcome, and where you feel supported in your growth.
